Project Manager

Executive Healthcare Advisors & Consulting

Position Summary

The Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting executive advisory, interim leadership, organizational transformation, and operational improvement engagements across healthcare organizations. This position works directly with senior consultants, interim executives, healthcare leaders, and client stakeholders to coordinate projects, manage timelines, track deliverables, and support the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized healthcare professional with strong project management, operational, and analytical skills who can manage multiple priorities while supporting complex healthcare engagements. This role requires the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leaders, physicians, boards, and operational teams to drive organizational performance and achieve measurable results.

󰪉 Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination (40%)
  • Coordinate consulting, advisory, and interim leadership engagements from initiation through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks, barriers, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and track follow-up activities.
  • Support the implementation of strategic, operational, clinical, and organizational initiatives.
  • Ensure project activities remain aligned with client objectives and engagement scope.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement (25%)
  • Serve as a liaison between Executive Healthcare Advisors & Consulting and client organizations.
  • Build collaborative relationships with executive leaders, board members, physicians, and operational teams.
  • Facilitate communication across stakeholders to promote alignment, accountability, and project success.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, dashboards, and status updates.
  • Support consultants and interim executives in managing client expectations, priorities, and deliverables.
Operational Improvement & Strategic Initiatives (20%)
  • Support organizational assessments, operational reviews, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, benchmarking, and reporting for performance improvement projects.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and project outcomes.
  • Coordinate implementation activities related to operational improvement, leadership transitions, restructuring efforts, and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Track progress toward strategic goals and organizational objectives.
Administrative & Reporting Support (15%)
  • Maintain project documentation, engagement records, and client files.
  • Develop project status reports, executive summaries, and presentation materials.
  • Ensure timely completion of deliverables and reporting requirements.
  • Support proposal development, client presentations, and engagement planning activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and consulting methodologies.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management, healthcare operations, consulting, performance improvement, or program management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Preferred
  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting healthcare executive leadership, consulting, operational turnaround, or organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working within hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, ambulatory care, or post-acute care settings.
